Hey there, 

My name is Rhea. I'm a master trainer and mindfulness coach with over a decade experience in the health and wellness industry.

I work with studios, trainers, and individuals to co-create mindful and effective fitness experiences, that support sustainable holistic health and overall well-being.

Traditional fitness values are outdated and often one-sided. I love seeing studios make conscious choices that provide a more welcoming experience, not only for their community, but also for their teams and trainers.

MEET THE COACH

Connection is the driving force within us and what makes us feel whole at the end of the day. Through mindful movement, the connection you build to yourself is the priority of knowing who you are, how you feel, and what you need on a daily basis. My method of coaching is holistic. I believe the mind and body are interdependent, and my approach to fitness and coaching reflects this.

 

I love working in health and wellness, which is why it’s the most prevalent aspect of my career. Having worked in this industry for half my life, I’ve had incredible experiences. But I’ve also had some not-so-great experiences. My mission as a coach is to help drive this industry in a direction that promotes health and wellness in a safe, sustainable, and accessible way.

 

It starts with the coaches. We, as coaches, must embody the changes we want to see in the industry. To evolve, we must shed traditional fitness values of ego and competitiveness and start assessing what leads to long-term sustainable health (both mental and physical). Yes, fitness helps tone the physique, but we humans need so much more than that to be healthy. Teaching from a space of compassion and fostering that connection through movement is the foundation of my coaching. It is also only one-half of the equation. 

 

Moving together and building a connection with each other and as a community (one-on-one or in a group setting) is the other half of the equation. Health is multifaceted and interdependent: your mind, body, and community will all play supporting roles in your overall health and well-being. A holistic approach is the most sustainable approach to a happy and healthy life.

It's not enough to just focus on the physical aspect of health.
